G'day,

I have, as yet, never had a bulb blow, most of mine just break, seems that 
getting bashed around in a small boat, does not make a bulb last too long. 
All of mine the 'legs' that hold the filament up break off where they enter 
the glass at the bottom of the bulb, after saying that I get about 30 - 40 
hours before they break
