Manos, Jim T has both kinds. For boat diving, the softer HDPE tail section is more forgiving and is smaller and lighter. The other is a proven beast. I have Barnette and Cittelli (AUE) testing these for me to see if they are satisfactory for boat diving. Citelli has had the standard version for years. In some of them I am trying out a new 67 pound thrust motor for beating the Gulfstream surface current getting down on a wreck. They dive them and bring them back, I check them and send them out again. Hopefully those guys can find any issues that there may be with the HDPE version. I am basically making any combination of things that anyone wants. I have nose , tail, and bulkhead materials that will give an easy 500 feet, I have combinations that are pretty, I have all kinds of colors, I have all kinds of bodies and packs for any burn time, and I have all kinds of motors. -----Original Message----- From: cavers-admin@sa*.or* [mailto:cavers-admin@sa*.or*]On Behalf Of Manos Manoli Sent: Monday, March 11, 2002 1:34 AM To: jim@sh*.ne* Cc: ba_techdiver@yahoogroups.com; techdiver@aquanaut.com; cavers@ca*.co*; ba_diving@ya*.co* Subject: [Cavers] Re: New HDPE Gavin and Demos Jim , what made you go for the HDPE version ?
