OK Steve,

What BUDS/S class did he graduate from.

If you never graduated from a BUD/S class you weren't
a SEAL (or UDT if you remember back that far).  I'm
not saying he never took a dive course from the Navy
as they have lots of them.  In the mid 70's I taught a
fellow federal agent to dive and he later volunteered
and was sent to a Navy dive school so he could check
the bottom of boats comming into the Chicago Seaport
(he was with the US Customs Service) but he didn't go
to BUD/S or any part of it.  Hell, that would have
killed him.  He was 40 at the time and one of his dive
instructors said to him (very respectfully) "Don't
take this wrong sir, but doesn't the US Customs
Service have anyone, well, you know, younger they
could have sent?"

So if Terry didn't graduate from a BUD/S class he was
not SEAL.  If he did, then tell us the class.
