You'd have to ask Cameron Martz about that one. I just show up every day and
so something, but I have done that all my life and merely have to maintain
now. I can tell you that if you do not make it a routine, it will be very
hard by the time you reach my age to catch up. The aerobic base needs to be
built, maintained, and the strength needs to be maintained.

I did do an Iron Man triathlon in 1999, but that is the only year that I did
anything excessive in terms of workout. Right now Pina and I run or do
cardio machines and then lift at the gym every day after work. In the summer
I add in swimming in the morning.

Interestingly, I still have the same strength in terms of weightlifting and
nearly the same sprint speed as I did when I was 20, and weigh within a few
pounds of what I always weighed.

Fitness is must for diving, strength and cardio are a must combination for
getting rid of the fat, keeping the bones strong, keeping the circulation
good, and producing the hormones necessary to stay that way.

Otherwise, maybe one of the big mouthed strokes could put up a list for the
information-challenged and relieve the rest of us of the burden of their
bullshit. Maybe TDI has a list , or Hal Watts ( LOL).
