Fellow divers: Just wanted to let you know that the next GEAR EXCHANGE at Ginnie Springs Outdoors is scheduled for Saturday of Easter weekend, 30 March, 8 am - 3 pm. As always, divers are given complimentary space outside the store to sell or trade their unwanted dive gear. Tables are available on a first come/first serve basis. On EASTER SUNDAY there will be In-Water Egg Hunts for snorkelers, ow, cavern, and cave divers, as well as On-Land Egg Hunts for the little ones. For the In-water Egg Hunts, ten (10) dozen eggs will be 'hidden'. There will be three(3) dozen in the Cavern, three (3) dozen in the cave system, and four (4) dozen in the open water area. Divers and snorkelers are asked to register at the dive shop. A maximum of four eggs per diver.......prizes to be claimed between 1 pm- 4 pm. Prizes are valued over $2,000 and include two Annual Dive Passes (one in cavern and one in the cave system). For the On-Land Egg Hunt, there are two age categories: 5 yrs. old and younger, 6-11 years old. All children must be accompanied by an Adult. Over 500 eggs will be hidden for the little ones. I am off to Mexico for some cave diving next week, but will be back at Ginnie on 22 March. Hope to see you and your family at Ginnie Springs Outdoors for the Easter Weekend.
