This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_00BC_01C1B7E3.C9756DE0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit You guys all write the dates wrong, and we understand that because the numbers only make sense one way. Same for diving - the "convention" is bullshit. If you thought there was only one "convention " for dates, you'd miss a lot of things. If you rely on "convention" in gas analysis, you might miss the rest of the big show. I introduced Fact Number One to the Quest list. This goes along with Rule Number One and Option Number One: "IF YOU GOT IT FROM TRAINING AGENCIES , IT IS INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OR DEAD WRONG." This is one of those things to be totally ignored. -----Original Message----- From: swanncruz@oc*.ne*.au* [mailto:swanncruz@oc*.ne*.au*] Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2002 6:31 PM To: Dogtrner1@ao*.co*; vlorenzo@in*.co*.ph*; trey@ne*.co*; techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: Re: Standard Deco Dive Written wrong way round..........20/35, hence the confusion. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dogtrner1@ao*.co* To: vlorenzo@in*.co*.ph* ; trey@ne*.co* ; techdiver@aquanaut.com Sent: Saturday, February 16, 2002 9:36 PM Subject: Re: Standard Deco Dive Yes, a 35/20 mix. Problem with that? Why? Reasoning? I am using a 35% helium because anything less, and I get narced. 20% or 21% because of depth and possibility of depth. With the exception of the Miller lite, and Clinton, all the tech dives that I do, have the potential of being deeper dives, however, I make all efforts to limit them to 165 or so. I do not care to go deeper (read: I am not comfortable---been there, done that, won't do it again. 200 has been my max depth, and I will probably not ever go back. I am happy going no further than 165 or 170---the Doria is not in my game plan---however, would like to do the Bianca!)
