Hi everyone,

I have given up the use of a dive computer and have reverted to a bottom =
planner. Several friends of mine are using software to generate their =
own tables. These friends do dive a little more aggressively than I am =
trained to do right now as they sometimes dive with Trimix and I am =
unable to at this time.

My question is, since I am basic Nitrox qualified, would I see any =
benefit of using software like Decoplanner over the standard tables that =
I have from NAUI? Air or Nitrox specifically. My friends have 1 minute =
decos planned into their tables for dives that would be generally =
considered no deco dives. I understand that stops in general are =
usually beneficial, but I would like to see them in table format and be =
able to copy them into wetnotes.

In short, can a software program like DecoPlanner benefit the every day =
recreational diver that occasionally goes deeper than say 60 feet for =
example.

Thank you,

D Burnworth=20
