Based on a quick scan of your usual tiresome blather, you also appeared to miss the North side of Grand Cayman. The reason the dive resorts are arranged the way they are is because the calmest waters and most beautiful beaches are on the West End. Even though West End is nice, and Divetech's mini-wall is also a very nice dive--if you know where to go there and apparently you were too busy trying to be cool to notice--some of the finest diving on Grand Cayman is the more pristine diving and less dived sites on the East and North sides of the island. If you haven't dove Babylon or one of several sites on the East End, then you really haven't dove Grand Cayman. And yet here you are once again, shooting your mouth off about something you know nothing about. You go to Grand Cayman, dive a couple of sites on the West End, then buy your way into a "tech experience" up on the North of West End and think you know something about Tech diving or the real diving on GCM. When I was there last time, I saw several sweating old guys getting rigged for their "tech experiences" at Divetech too. But they looked cool in the gear. And yes, close to shore there are sandy areas. God, what a total dimwit you are. The only thing I agree with that you said is that the folks at DiveTech are very nice folks. I enjoyed diving and chatting with them. I'm afraid to ask, but did you have an actual purpose in mind for Trimix coursework or are you just another card-hound wanting to be able to say, working it humbly into the conversation, "yeah, I'm a 'mix diver." Guys like you are what's wrong with diving in general, all mouth, no brains and with a hard-on to be the "big dog" on the boat. Mr. Tech Diver, what a joke. The instruction you need has nothing to do with water. JoeL -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
