SHIPWRECKS/2002 WELLAND, ONTARIO-(45 Minutes from Buffalo, 75 Minutes from Toronto) A one-day symposium on shipwrecks April 13, 2002, featuring multimedia presentations with internationally renowned speakers from both the United States and Canada. $35CDN/$25 US up to March 1, 2002, $40 CDN/$28 US after / lunch included. This is the 8th annual event put on by the Niagara Divers' Association in Welland Ontario. This year, we are very excited to have seven primary multimedia presentations with speakers from Ontario, Michigan, New York, Ohio and New Hampshire including; Joyce Hayward: Master of Ceremonies Geoff Barker/David Mekker: Diving Alger Underwater Preserve Bernie Chowdhury: Safety First- Lessons Learned from "THE LAST DIVE" Thomas Easop: The Guns and Armor of Scapa Flow Garry Kozak: The Discovery of the HMS Breadalbane-Lost In The Arctic 1853 & Sikorsky's Amphibian S-39, An Alaskan Challenge Jim Stayer/Pat Stayer: The Wexford David Trotter: Bank Job...(And The Heist) Again for 2002, there will be several 5 minute shorts, introducing new speakers between the primary presentations.
