Air Products Tech support 800.752.1597 said that they also Vacuum > purge the O2 cylinders used for welding O2. > > > The best bet is to check with who you get your Oxygen from. I did check with the place we get our O2 from yesterday when picking up a bottle. They said the only difference between Aviators grade and Medical grade from their place is that they will randomly check a bottle of Medical grade from a batch for moisture, medical grade costs more, and you need a prescription for medical. Both Aviators and Medical get filled from the same storage tank and both medical and aviators bottles get evacuated before the fill at this place. Now the only question in my mind is how the hell do they hydro that 50' storage tank of O2 they keep there :-) Ken -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ken Sallot " When I die, I want to go like my CIRCA grandfather, peacefully, in his sleep. . .
