Many thanks for your detailed and helpful reply.



I generally find it best to check my understanding prior to instigating any
changes in my rig so forgive me if I'm being an ass. 



1) I'm reading your response as though it is basically the normal DIR rig with
everything in its correct place BUT without the back bottles AND WITH wing and
curved weights adjusted to give the correct weighting for the different weight.



2) Back bottles are replaced with side bottles rigged as stages - one on right
and one on left - with gas management as per manifold.  Additional bottles as
stages rigged normally. Not clear on the free to move bungee on the right -
what is it I'm not seeing here?
