Should any charter boat operator tell divers what gear configs they are to have other than making sure they have depth and pressure gauge? NO FUCKING WAY. I prefer to pay my charter fee, load up my DIR gear and then be LEFT THE FUCK ALONE. I assume that Crowell is not DIR, if someone wants to take a class from him then that's their business. I personally wouldn't, but other people would. The WKPP can do whatever they want to as they are a *private organization* and the members understand who is in charge. Why George even gives a crap about some charter boat guy 1000 miles away is really beyond me.
