Oh dear, now we are being assured that, and I quote

"Never mind that the Inspiration currently has a
better incident/unit rate than the Halcyon."

I have asked the person to provide their so-called
concrete correct statistical, scientifically proven
evidence of deaths directly attributed to Inspiration
failure and Inspiration user error as opposed to
Halycon unit failure and Halcyon user error? 

This is about as insane as Dom Humphries continuously
slating DIR but refusing the invitations to go to the
Lakes and try it then come up with proper
substantiated alternatives which are better. 

As I stated previously, for caves especially, DIR is
the ONLY way..there is not one person who has been
able to supply a feasible, more beneficial
alternative. Crossing the DIR fundamentals into
recreational scuba training agencies as mandatory will
cut the unnecessary deaths - the existing safety
standards are shambolic and nothing short of a joke.
