Dear Diving Pro: I thought that you would be interested in this quoted communications I received. The VR-3 is the single most important technical diving equipment advancement since the first diving computer and then the nitrox computer. Now we have one computer that will do it all. "For anyone who is interested, I have just returned from a trip to the red sea along with 16 divers, 9 (including me) of whom were testing and using the new VR3. The units performed very well and was used in all modes from open circuit nitrox to closed circuit trimix. Depths of up to 100 meters, 7 days diving with 3 dives a day all OK and no problems. Over all the new VR3 was very good and the new Hetol program gave good run times compared to tables. It also was very close to the buddy nexus up to 50 meters. I had the VR3 linked to my unit and have to say that the 4 cell, which was placed inside the canister top tracked the PPO2 very well and matched the hand sets thought out my dives.
