I got 5 years out of a set of latex neck and wrist seals by very carefully using the silicon on them. My dive shop stoped carrying the silicon for the reason stated, that it contaminates the material. When my seals finally did die, there was no problem gluing the new ones (this was a nylon shell suit). I will continue to use "seal saver" or whatever because it works. I owe my life to the BC that brought me up the day my exhaust valve fell apart on a dry suit. I use the suit for bouyancy control and the BC for surface flotation. I once saw a diver pass out from the pressure on his neck when he inflated his dry suit enough to float like a boat at the surface. Thanks for all the replys on dry suit fins! Just about every fin made was mentioned at least once but the only ones mentioned more than twice were the Imperial Turtles. Does anybody know how to get hold of "Global" who supposedly still carries these things? Thanks again, -Bill- WVANDERCLOCK@BE*.ED*
