The norm I have seen locally is to fudge the resulting profile based on experience and rules of thumb after it has been calculated (ie Add a long soak at 21m then trim off the shallow stops or reduce the conservatism or put in a 21m waypoint then calculate the ascent from there) rather than get the tool to build it based on the correct inputs.
