Just found this little gem while surfing!

Unfortunately the OZTeK 2000 organisers must advise that Jarrod Jablonski of
the WKPP in Florida and Robert Carmichael of Halcyon Manufacturing are unable
to attend and their presentations are no longer on the OZTeK schedule. However
a premier list of international speakers including Olivier Isler, Gary Gentile,
Tom Mount, Bernie Chowdhury, Chris Parrett, Udo Koss, Lamar Hires & Nuno Gomes
have all confirmed attendance at this years show and will entertain attendees
with their diving exploits and knowledge.

Argh yes Richard the wallet didn't extend that far did it? didn't extend
to give real DIR speakers a go.

But hang on they offered to pay their own way didn't they?

So what was the $ problem again? I don't remember.

Hey doesn't Chris Parrot have an Abyss conference organising program
feature about how much one lies? (to coin george) "small lie", "medium lie",
"big lie" or "going to decieve the whole community type lie"?

I look forward to 2002 OZtec and some leveling of the representation
in the dive community. I might even part with $ this time and go
myself!

B
