Wrong gas - I said "at least 30%" helium below 100 and 35-40 below 120. The
higher the better.

Subject: Correct Helium percentage

"At 200 feet, this is useless, and 17% is not the right mix for any dive,
nor does it give any of the benefits of helium in the proper percentages,
which needs to be at least 30 for diving ( over 100 feet) and 25 for shallow
deco bottles"
George.
After spending a night in Billy's garage on Monday, I was given a crash
course in mixing and planning dives on trimix.
I now have a 20/23 mix for 50m dives. This gives a 33m EAD.
Regarding your comment above, what maximum EAD do you plan your dives on?
---------------------------
Now that I am using (hopefully) the right gas, could you give me the profile
you would recommend for a 20min 50m dive using 50% Nitrox for deco.
Thanks
