Hi all, If you live outside Australia, this probably won't be relevant to you. Apologies, but there isn't a local techdiving list! For those who don't already know about it, Peter Ready, the designer of the Prism semi-closed circuit rebreather will be in Melbourne (Australia) around Easter to give a seminar on it. He will also be conducting pool-based introductory courses and possibly a few ocean dives. The seminar details are: Date: Tuesday 11th April Time: 7.30pm Place: Buckley Park Bowling Club, Cooper St, Essendon, Melbourne Cost: $3 (venue+supper cost) Booking for the seminar is not necessary, just turn up. If you are interested in getting in the pool with one, the fee is $99 for a one day introductory course. The number of places is strictly limited. For more information, contact Barrie Heard on (056)27 6474. For the interstaters, I belive that Peter is touring the country with the rebreathers and will be running courses at least in Perth and Sydney (Rob Cason may know more about this). Hope to catch up with a few local techdivers at the Melbourne seminar. Cheers, David. ______________________________________________________________________________ David Giddy, | Voice: +61 3 253 6388 Telstra Research Laboratories, | Fax: +61 3 253 6144 P.O.
