FRENCH DIVER DIES ON 100M WRECK DIVE Fifty-five-year-old wreck diver
Bernard Gonon was found dead at the surface after making a 100m-plus
wreck dive on an Inspiration rebreather at the weekend. His buddy
surfaced over an hour later and was taken to hospital with shock.
The two were diving from a Zodiac inflatable with no surface support,
and were using the anchor line for decompression. The French navy
intervened after Gonon's body was discovered floating face-down.
