Mailing List: techdiver

Folks,

I have now received a number of messages from my ISP about viruses
being sent to the list, the latest one being as follows:

> Attention: christiang@cc*.co*.au*
> 
> [A message has been sent to the originator, stating there is a virus
> in the Email they just sent to you. No further action is required on
> your part.]
> 
> A Virus was found in an Email message sent to you. 
> This Email scanner intercepted it and stopped the entire message
> before it reached you.
> 
> The Virus was reported to be: 
> 
> W32/Badtrans-B

This is unusual, has never happened to me before in the several years
I've now been on this list, hence this post.

Viruses have never affected me when they've got through (wrong
platform, serious and up-to-date anti-virus sfotware) but those with
Wintel machines might care to take a little care.
