Hi,
you might need a well trained dolphin, don't you ?

Btw, once I found a DIY page for building a side-scan, can't remember
where.

An engineer ( Dipl. Ing. Aretz) of Rohde & Schwarz built his one
homebrew out of  surplus ultrasonic medical diagnostic eqipment.
Still a bit of software engineering, besides the plumbing. He wrote book
on self built electronic dive tools, but this was in 1974, now he says
he should rewrite it again. No idea why ;-))
