I have made four of the tapered and am working on ten more and am working on
24 of the regular version. Regular is 3500 with rewound motor, any body or
pack, and the tapered is 3400 with the rewind and any of the packs. You can
also get either with either nose or whatever combination you want. All of
them are interchangeable with each other.

I am recommending the softer one for rough handling conditions due to the
fact that it is harder to break the material. PVC is awesome, but I have had
problems with people hitting the strikes on the nose and breaking them out.
I have a ring that can be put over the lid which has the strikes welded on
that prevents this from happening. For the softer material the use of the
same ring stops the ripping out of the screws and strikes. In any event that
is for those who think they might break something, or they can get a soft
nose.

Any generic problems of these devices I have solved . As always, there is
full lifetime warranty and I do the fixing and motor work myself if you mess
that up - just mail me the part , like the motor, and I take care of it.
Given the number of these I have out there, it is pretty funny that I really
do not ever hear about them again. Casey has one of mine that is 9 years old
and has never been serviced.

All of the ones I am working on now will be done between two weeks from now
and mid January.
