I have used this device during the Bouiagmeni expedition in Greecee arlier this year when we were supporting and carrying the trimix stages. They work great and are easy to use. For heavy deco bottles they just use rigid pieces of light wood or apropriate plastic. You can have a look at pics from bouliagmeni at homepages.pathfinder.gr/cavediving bouliagmeni link.
