you do not need swivel regs for stages.  some of the info out there sure is
misleading.  like the 'must use piston firsts for stage regs'.  a standard 40"
reg hose on a ds4 or us4 is fine without the added issues of dealing with the
little turret o-ring leaking a bit when dirty.  hose routing, etc. is  no
problem, either.  if you guys get a chance and don't believe me, please
look/use a rig of someone who's got the non-swivel reg for stages.  in fact,  i
have one type of reg for every last thing i own (back gas, stages, deco, argon)
and because they're apeks, my single rebuild kit covers them all
