The laws made by men regarding helmets have been repealed. The laws of physics, however, are still in place, and Mother Nature tends to be VERY strict about enforcing them when she feels the need. I went down at 40 mph on a Suzuki Water Buffalo one bright spring day many years ago. The helmet definitely saved my boyish good looks, and very probably saved my life. Please ride carefully. We don't really need more statistics or clinical experience with severe head trauma. ----- Original Message ----- From: <MICHAELPIZZIO@cs*.co*> To: <rose@cs*.sc*.ed*> Cc: <strohm@ai*.ne*>; <dsmith218@ho*.co*>; <trey@ne*.co*>; <FLTechDiver@mikey.net>; <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 19, 2001 10:28 AM Subject: Re: Death of Eric Reichardt, 9/16/01 > John, > > Just heading out on my 1500 Kawaski Vulcan for a ride before work.
