If Falwell and Robertson are happy that passenger resistance on the downed plane in PA saved several hundred lives, they should consider this: One of the passengers from the Bay Area was openly gay. There's a special monument of flowers for him here in San Francisco. Falwell can say what he wants, but like NYC, San Francisco tolerates and learns from differences. Liberals and conservatives, gays, straights and in-betweens, Pagans, Christians, Jews, and Muslims and people of different usually manage to get along just fine. Unfortunately, we've started to see hate crimes against Muslims here in the past several days. Our country needs more tolerance, not less, and especially now.
