Folks,

There have been some brave words on this list, some that I agree with,
some that I don't and many that I agree with in part only.

My own slant, for what it is worth:

The sooner we acknowledge that religion, of whatever persuasion; the
sooner we acknowledge that race, of whatever persuasion, are THE TWO
PRINCIPAL REASONS, by a quantum factor, for the lack of harmony
amongst us humans on this small planet, the sooner we all might get
somewhere as far as living with some harmony is concerned.

Both the above could be called bigotry, unfortunately it would (the
opposing parties are simply too firmly entrenched) take some _g_od
(note, lower case) to do something about this.

Equally unfortunately _god_ has obviously proved its lack of
existence. No self respecting _g_od would have allowed this much
suffering for this many centuries amongst its disciples, of whatever persuasion.

For those of you who have religion, I respect that but I do not resile
from my position.

For those of you who might be racist (I trust few, if any) you have my
deep felt disrespect.

I'm done with this, yet I still grieve,

Christian (who, despite his name and strongly religious upbringing is
a confirmed atheist)
