Actually the first who went into space where the Russians with Mr Yuri
Gangari with a metric
spaceship. But more important ask the guys in Nasa and im sure there is
at least 2 of them here in
the list ... you will be amazed that they use the metric system in many
applications.
I took many projects when i was in university that involved imperial
calculations , i used to
convert the figures into metric do the formulas the easy way finish half
the time the " yankees did "
and convert the result into imperial again .
I hope this doesn't turn to be the new imperial/metric cold war hehehehe
