It was something else that was said that was all wrong, I forgot what it is
now, but it is
not any of this or any of what you have said here or below it.

1) There are a number of ways you can use or set them up.
2) You can buy different 1st stages as well.
3) You can buy adaptors, hoses, make stuff yourself, it's up to you.
4) George, this is my experience with these regs. I apologise if I have
stated incorrect information.

You can use either the Higher flow port or the standard port for the long
hose. I can't tell the difference in flow.
To attached the long hose to the Higher flow port you "can" use an adaptor
for the right shoulder post first stage or make up a new hose with the
right fittings.
For the back up reg you use the normal port (since the first stage is
pointing the other way) with a normal hose or you can buy an adaptor for
the Apeks hose.

If the post states any incorrect information then please find the correct
information from somewhere else.

Shit canned my Posidion POS regs last month - Now have 4 Apeks ( 1 * TX100
3 * TX40 ) best thing I have done.

As far as I can determine in water the TX40 and TX100 breathe exactly the
same, the only advantage with the TX100 is that you can adjust it so that
it emulates the cracking resistance of the Posidion, ( thats useful, now we
just need to figure how to get em to free flow randomly ).

Another advantage of the Apeks is the size of the feed hole into the HP
hose - it is very very small. For a trial I removed the HP hose and let her
rip - on a 12L tank the pressure drops 5 Bar / Min. With the Posidion it is
more like 40-50 Bar, its going to give me more decision time should that HP
hose let go.

Apeks sell a plug - then just use the other standard port for the long
hose, this hi flow stuff is for the birds.

End result - don't think about it buy an Apeks.

2CC's worth.
