Dean and Wendell's subsequent posts are on mark. Stay away from VPM
decos like oil on water. The VPM has been tested on Jell-O, Rats, and
Salmon. If you'd like to be next, then step up and pet the deco pony.

The fine piece of software "Vplanner" was written by Ross Hemingway, and
is not available from my VPM site's url (above).

Vplanner is a GUI-fronted (ahhh... that's not GUE) version of Erik
Baker's state-of-the-art Fortran implementation of the results of his
collaboration with the late Prof. David Yount and myself on extending
the original VPM to modern diving scenarios. We believe that the only
responsible thing you can do with deco algorithms is to provide the full
open source code listing. So then, anyone who wants to understand the
modeling can see behind Mr Wizard's curtain --and make informed
decisions.

Best,

Eric Maiken
