That would be some tremendous feat to wrestle a 7 foot thrashing, enraged,
feeding frenzy shark from the water. I've been in a tank (4-5 foot of
water) with a very tame 6' nurse shark and with one gentle flick of his tail
he completely dragged me around the pool (I was holding him in a bear hug up
for a picture). I was in college at the time and in much better shape and
15 years younger. Now I naturally had no adrenaline in me as the uncle did
but still, I was with a tame 6' nurse shark that was not pissed off and he
was with a 7' wild, probably pissed off bull shark!

If the story is in fact true, I certainly have some sort of appreciation for
the amount of strength needed.
Art.

Buddy,

The Pensacola media went into full "Gulf War" mode on the fishing story and
found it to be a hoax.

There were many witnesses and none of them contradict the published story.
