Hi Rick Just as a point of clarification, don't let anyone bullshit you about the supposed "dangers" of "wrapping" the long hose. It goes straight down from the right post, under your cannister light, across your chest, over your left side of your neck/shoulder then around the back of your head where it presents perfectly to your mouth from the right without any need for swivels, elbows or any other bullshit. There's some good pics at the www.dis-uk.com site and if you haven't found it yet read http://www.gue.com/equipment/jj-hogarth.shtml "Deploying" involves ducking your head slightly and handing off 5ft of hose. Flick the rest out from under your light and he's got the whole 7ft in about 2 seconds. I'll admit It takes much longer to put it back ... around 5 or maybe 6 seconds ;-) Once you dive it, you'll wonder what the hell you were doing previously and why no one told you about it before now. > If the above DIR configuration is correct - is it not possible to have a > situation where you're diving in an overhead environment and the left post > gets rolled off? It should strike you as an "odd thing" ... the only answer to which is that you have rolled off your left post, or forget to open your isolator. Duane perfectly nailed the rest. regards *** dean laffan real world productions melbourne, australia ph +613-9419-3966 Mobile - 0418-525-315 It said on the box: 'Requires Windows 95 or better' ... so I bought a Mac ! -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
