Scott,

I use both a Mac 8100/80 and an IBM notebook and use lots of "Dos" and
"Windows" based software including, but not limited to: Doctor X, MigPlan,
MixMaster, Bridge Software, HyperAquland software, and ABYSS. All work
under "SoftWindows" Printing can be a problem however.

Printing to a Mac LaserWriter is OK using softwindows if you have the
necessary driver and the program runs inside windows. If it runs under
dos, like Doctor X, HyperAquland etc. then you need to print to a "file"
and read the file later on a Mac Word Processor.

As far as the cabling is concerned, there are adapators, but I haven't used
them. Instead, I upload to the IBM and then transfer the files and data.

And yes, the Cockran software will also work this way.

Hal
