Ahh, give the guy a break. I know you don't want to hear this but for cold water diving the Pressed Steel 104's are the ideal tank. If you need more gas that that you can carry a stage. For warm water diving Al80's. The difference between warm is cold is drysuit or not. There are some who swear by HP120's but once they try a set of LP104's they don't go back. Why are the 104's so perfect? Buoyancy characteristics. You can remain neutral throughout your dive and avoid a weightbelt. What!?!? Diving without a weight belt??? No, we won't even go there... Manifolds you want the type that uses a floating isolator manifold, in effect nothing from OMS. Yes of course different tanks need different manifolds and bands mostly due to their diameter Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------- Learn About Trimix at http://www.cisatlantic.com/trimix/ > From: "Daniel Smith" <Daniel_Smith@CO*.CO*> > Date: Fri, 3 Aug 2001 08:56:57 -0400 > To: techdiver@aquanaut.com, dlhedrick@pb*.co* > Subject: RE: tanks > > > > David, read your own post again.
