Mathias then what is the diference between ASD and PFO i thought that PFO is patent foramen ovale which is a congenital defect of the heart allowing blood to flow directly between the right and left atria (the small chambers above the ventricles). Which is something similar to your description for ASD where do i have things mixed up ? Also where is the problem in diving ?
