The victim did not go to their back gas and chose to alert the buddy, this was the only thing I see that they did wrong. It was even more of a surprise because they were doing safety for me on a deep dive when I started having possible oxtox symptoms and I switched to backgas while I was puking and avoided a possible seizure, though there were other things that contributed to my case, no other thing did they do wrong or happen to this diver....
