Well I have found another job. Its out of oceanography, this possibly reflects the feeling between the government and its scientists. For those that have heard of the firm I am about to work for Snap On in the Sun Electric Research lab in Kings' Lynne in Norfolk England UK. Unfortunately this move means no computer access to the internet, for a undetermined period of time, so I bid you adju for a short period, and thank you for the stimulating conversations and council. I will be able to recieve email until the 07th april 1995 at this address. I leave you will a poem about this afflication/fasination with the sea. Sea Fever. I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and sky. And all I ask is a tall ship, and a star to steer her by. And the wheels kick and the winds song, and the white sails shaking. And a grey mist on the seas face, and a grey dawn breaking. I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide. T'is a clear call and a wild call, that may not be denied. And all I ask is a windy day, with the white clouds flying. And the flung spray and the brown spume, and the seagulls crying. I must go down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life. To the gulls way and the whales way, where the winds like a whetted knife. And all I ask is a merry yarn; from a laughing rover. And a quiet sleep, when the long tricks over.
