Mathias, I see you have reverted back to a moron again. There are about
fifty very good reasons why Poseidon's are garbage, not the least of which
is the upstream valve, the opv in the hose, the special fittings and hoses,
the fact that you can not scooter with one without taping over it or it
fills with water, and you can not pass one off without it being full of
water. Quit being such a fucking moron. The other ones run IP's that are
ridiculously high. Everything Poseidon makes is bullshit, and they refuse to
see how to correct the problems they have , and of course being hard headed
Swedes, they do not even admit that there are any problems. Why fuck with a
mess like that? We do not even allow the stupid things in the WKPP.

Manos,
while most of your observations are correct, you may have missed some of
the good reasons why to choose which gear.

The operational flaw of the poseidon regs is that you cannot reach the
2nd stage membrane without tools.
This is an issue when you have to deposit and leave bottles at sites
where silt and dirt entering the reg can create a problem, really not
that much , if at all, on a single dive to a wreck.
A likely flaw of the poseidon jetstream is offbleeding when supply
pressure drops below , say 40 bar. should not be a problem unles you
call for it.

Same goes for the clipping. No silt, dirt, corrosion( hopefully), no
clipping to vital parts which won't come off under stress, probably no
problem . I agree it should be a direktive to be able to loosen any
connection made with means on hand durng the dive, though.

For the stages, do you know the manufacturer, and their bouancy
properties ? For sure ?
There are pretty light steel bottles around here.
Matthias
