Matthias, good morning Can you pls ask Mark how does his support diver knows that he has switched to the correct gas ? no MOD on his tanks !! Can you also ask him to give us one single reason why to have boods on stage tanks ? Have a look at his doubles !! On one tank there is TRIMIX sticker and on the other tank a NITROX sticker !!! Why doesn't he have a light strope on his shoulder to be a complete christmas tree ?? >>> There are pretty light steel bottles around here.<< That is what i always used to say until i tried Alu80. I have checkout more than 20 different stages. Nothing swims along from the beginning of the dive to the end like an Alu 80. I used to hate it when i sold brand new steels to buy a proper stages. Poseidon's , difficult to be serviced, thank God i never owned one but i have a friend who use to send it annually to UK for service ,special parts , special hoses , unique intermediate pressures, bla bla bla you cannot reach the 2nd stage membrane without tools ,off bleeding when supply pressure drops below 40 bar as you already said ! And the story goes on !! Also i have read reviews which claim that performance wise they dont get close to some classic performers !! Scubapro or Apeks is the way to go ??? You see Matthias what really gets me !!! Those chest beaters are the guys who show up on Dive Shows as Guest and they lecture people on their gear . Funny enough i met another guy name Mark on last years London Dive Show he was lecturing how did he get to 80m on air and you should see his set-up !!! The guy had ball Valves on his double blader wing inflators in case air was injected violently in his wings !!!! And you should see all this people sitting there listening. I wanted to throw up !!! And the story goes on !! And people die !! and the call it another Heart Attack !!!
