There are legitimate reasons for choosing singles with dual outlet valves. Similarly, there are reasons for selecting doubles with isolation manifolds. There are situtaions where a set of double tanks has a significant advantage, just as the same is true for a single. A set of twins is not an inherently evil piece of gear, nor is a single with an H/Y valve.
