I have run it since Bill Gavin turned it over to me in 1993. He just filled in for Parker for a while. Gavin was Project Engineer all along. And no, there have been no problems since I took over. Gavin solved some of them by discontinuing air diving, and I solved the rest by discontinuing listening to anyones' bullshit. Bill used to tell me, "George, we can not tell these people what to do, they are volunteers, we just won't dive with them". I said, "they will do it my way or go fuck themselves". I like my way better, and obviously, it works quite well, and these days the WKPP is run by several people, like Casey McKinlay ( Project Coordinator - my old job under Gavin ) , Scott Landon on training, Chris, JJ, Scott H, etc - all have specific areas of responsibility, and the whole team and anyone trained by us who gets the joke is on the same page as to DIR and safety , which makes for a lot of fun when you do not have to be filing out police reports and making up lies to tell on the internet like the idiots we see around us. -----Original Message----- From: MCCSWOOD@cs*.co* [mailto:MCCSWOOD@cs*.co*] Sent: Tuesday, July 03, 2001 7:05 PM To: trey@ne*.co* Subject: How long have you run the WKPP?
