That "Extra deep screw-in DIN socket" you're referring to is a 300 bar connection. 200 bar is shallower, therefore you can use the yoke converter. 300 bar is deeper, which means you can't use a yoke regulator ("A-Clamp") with it. Besides, most yoke regulators aren't rated past 3500 psi which is way below 300 bar (4500 psi). If you want a 300 bar connection, go with a 300 bar DIN first stage. > Does anyone have any comments on the O ring design/safety and Trimix? First I've heard of it, however I'm not a trimix diver. I know some guys who dive trimix often enough to have seperate sets of doubles so they don't have to "waste all that expensive helium", and they all seem to use sherwood manifolds. One last thing, if you just change your burst disks, your old fashioned sherwood manifold would be fine at higher pressure. If you're buying a DIN manifold to use with a yoke regulator at really high pressure (which is what it sounds like), then I'd have to ask if you really really wanted DIN to begin with. One of the advantages to DIN is having the captured O-Ring, however with using a yoke adapter, you're now introducing two points of failure you didn't have before (two O- Rings, the captured one, and the one on your adapter). BTW, this is just my $0.02.
