	I think the pennie thing was a figure of speech.  At first, the super
thick stuff sounds good in copper , bronze or whatever, but in looking
at the whole thing, you find the thicker the shim/disk the less actual
thread contact between the plug bolt and valve.  So, if only a few
threads are holding a huge disk, the plug is now comprimised in a way
that is just as bad or worse than the original flimsy disk as the whole
plug can blow out under pressure or even mild impact.    The next step
is finding something with superior strength without the required
thickness.  The stainless disks accomplish this.  Higher strength than
the thicker copper, bronze, or whatever without the required thickness
plus a higher degree of corrosion resistance.  you can get them from
