My web site was meant to be a general overview of Trimix and and to = provide information which will explain why Helium is a good thing. That = particular piece of information was derived from an article in Diving = Medicine, by Alfred Bove and Jefferson Davis. I suspect this more of a problem with commercial saturation divers who are = "blown down" to depth rather rapidly, far faster than a normal scuba diver = descending. Certainly I have never experienced it, but it is listed as a = side effect of Helium as is the HPNS, another thing you are unlikely to = encounter. I highly recommend you get this book, it is a gold mine of = information.
