These have been around for years in "DIN" countries, long before you guys on
the other side of the pond discovered the virtues of DIN. :-) Some people
like them , some countries require them.
To releive the pressure you just turn the plug 1/2 - 11/2 turn with a tool
and the small amount of trapped gas hisses out. Doesnt damage threads and
protects the valvethreads from dirt and grit.
