Each dive I do or have ever done, in any = circumstance. Is done using a Uwatec bottom timer and tables (PADI wheel = for dives less than 40mtrs with no deco) ( Stop Laughing this is a = serious question) as I thought this was DIR.=20 =20 However I get the feeling that on lots or recreational dives, lots = of people who dive DIR, use computors due to convienence. And I must = admitt it would be more simples to use one, BUT I'm quite quick using = the wheel (stop laughing) to calculate bottom times so there isn't = really an inconvienence. SO my question is : Is DIR no computors for anything bar nothing ? = and if so what tables etc are people using to calculate bottom times on = casual dives less than 40mtrs (no deco)? or is using a computor on dives = less than 40mtrs with no deco within the DIR frame ?=20 Cheers Chaz ------=_NextPart_000_0041_01C0E309.2C2CD3C0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.2314.1000" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>OK so how ? where do I find this info ???? = </FONT></DIV> <BLOCKQUOTE=20 style=3D"BORDER-LEFT: #000000 2px solid; MARGIN-LEFT: 5px; MARGIN-RIGHT: = 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 5px; PADDING-RIGHT: 0px"> <DIV style=3D"FONT: 10pt arial">----- Original Message ----- </DIV> <DIV=20 style=3D"BACKGROUND: #e4e4e4; FONT: 10pt arial; font-color: = black"><B>From:</B>=20 <A href=3D"mailto:trey@ne*.co*" title=3Dtrey@ne*.co*>Trey</A> = </DIV> <DIV style=3D"FONT: 10pt arial"><B>To:</B> <A = href=3D"mailto:bruce.s@co*.co*.nz*"=20 title=3Dbruce.s@co*.co*.nz*>Bruce Sherman</A> ; <A=20 href=3D"mailto:techdiver@aquanaut.com" = title=3Dtechdiver@aquanaut.com>Techdiver=20 List</A> </DIV> <DIV style=3D"FONT: 10pt arial"><B>Sent:</B> Tuesday, May 22, 2001 = 9:44 PM</DIV> <DIV style=3D"FONT: 10pt arial"><B>Subject:</B> RE: Computor's on = dives to max=20 40mtrs - OK or Laziness ???</DIV> <DIV><BR></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=3D#0000ff face=3DArial size=3D4><SPAN = class=3D870473509-22052001>Why=20 would somebody use tables that do not work to start with , like the = PADI=20 wheel?
