Depends on the size of your bottle Alex. I use a 13 cu ft and
mount it on the left side of my doubles. It puts it right
under my arm where I can get at it easily, but I don't notice
it during a dive. I'm tall so that may not work for you. If
you do try, don't let it stick out. The bottles should follow
the contour of your body. I don't use one when I dive
singles, but I would guess a good spot might be in the corner
where your tank meets your back, it shouldn't weigh enough
to throw off your balance and it stays out of the way.

If you haven't gotten a bottle yet, don't go any bigger
than 13 cu ft or so. That size holds enough gas for 8 dives
to 100+ fsw. Anything bigger is just bulk and weight.
