 Last Friday Brian Moore and I had just finished a dive when the county
commissioner in charge of this particular district happened to show up and
introduce himself. After 15 minutes or so of friendly discussion the fee
increase came up and we gave him an idea of what fully equipped locations
charge versus state parks, etc. Milton had no idea what other places charged
and was receptive to the suggestion that possibly the board had raised the
fee a little too high.  This was done as diplomatically as possible since we
were out of towners and didn't want to piss anyone off.  As I'm sure Scott
H. can attest to, they really have swimming hole improvements in mind here
for the local taxpayers (VOTERS).  Be a shame to see this place closed to
diving.
