Guys,
I hate to tell you this but the county commission has increased the
fees to dive JB. The annual pass is now $300 a year, the daily pass is $25
a year and there is no longer a weekend pass. I did not know of this and
had nothing to do with it. I will not dive JB after my current pass
expires and would recommend that we boycott the place to let them know they
have made a mistake. They are rebuilding the park and plan on paying for
it with divers fees. There is nothing in Jackson County for divers and JB
does not merit that kind of fee to dive. Speak with your money and they
might listen. If they see enough of a loss after this increase they might
return to normal.
I will post a fax number in the next few days and I recommend that you
use it to tell them that the fees are too high and that you will not be
diving there. I am tired of getting screwed.
